Dear My Good Friends, I write my recent topics and interests.
My house is halfway between Kyoto and Nara. Because there are forest hill on the north, in winter when I hang a mandarin orange in the camellia in the garden, me-jiro (目白、white-eye) often comes. Mejiro lives near forest and likes flower honey and fruits such as persimmon. It has green shining wings that look like the spirit of spring light. And it has charming round white around the eyes. Thus it is a wild bird loved by Japanese from long ago.
